Gas Turbine Engine Endorsement

The GTE Endorsement is a must for a prospective commercial pilot wanting to expand their skills into the world of jet, turboprop or turbo-fan aircraft.

Our Gas Turbine Engine Endorsement course is usually completed on the Cessna C208 Series of aircraft or the TBM700 and includes briefings, practical and flight components.  However we can also train on other types by request.

The first briefing talks about gas turbine engines in general, and covers the basic principles of a jet engine.  The following briefings then delve into turboprops and the PT6 engine fitted to the C208 and TBM700 in particular.
