Quest Kodiak Training
Blue Sky Airways is one of the few organisations able to conduct training on the Daher Aerospace (Quest Aircraft) Kodiak 100 series.
As for the Caravan, the Quest Kodiak is one of the class rated aircraft that requires training and a flight review under a Part 141/142 organisation before a pilot can fly the aircraft as pilot in command.
Fitted with the Garmin G1000 display, coupled with the GFC700 autopilot, the Kodiak is a very sophisticated and user friendly aircraft. In addition, it’s “split” wing gives it incredibly docile stall characteristics, which, combined with it’s large flaps, allows the aircraft to have excellent short field takeoff and landing (STOL) performance.
The Kodiak 100 is fitted with a Pratt and Whitney PT6A turboprop, very similar to that in the C208.
Note that we don’t own a Kodiak, but we provide flight reviews and training and checking services to owners of the type.
